याद है मुझे

वो गावं का बड़ा सा पोखरा
और चारो और हरे-भरे खेत
वो सूखी- नदी ,
जिसके किनारों पर बिखरी ढेर सारी रेत
दूर से ही नजर आती वो पहाड़ी
शिखर से जिसके आती-जाती
रवि और शशि की सवारी ।
चारों और दूर तक फैला
वो स्याह सा आसमान ,
और दूर कहीं दिखता छितिज ,

जहाँ मानो भू और गगन हो जाते सामान।

मिटटी की वो सोंधी सुगंध

प्रफुलित कर देती जो तन-मन,

और इन सभी के बिच हमेशा से रहता आया हूँ ,

बिछड़ कर अपनों से कैसा लगता है?

महसूस कर रहा हूँ अब मैं।

सब कुछ तो छोड़ आया पीछे

अपना वो अस्तित्व,अपना इतिहास

और न जाने क्या-क्या !

पर विश्वास है मुझे ,

मिट कर एक दिन

हमेशा के लिए मिल जाऊंगा उनमे ,

बनकर कर उन सभी का एक अंग

चलता रहूँगा युगों तक मैं संग-संग।
